Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: August 4, 2026

Aelux Transport ("Aelux," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit aeluxtransport.com (the "Site") or book our luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter transportation services. It also describes the rights available to Florida residents under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. §§ 501.701–501.722, the "FDBR") and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers & contact data — name, phone number, email, pickup/drop-off addresses.
  • Booking & trip details — date, time, passenger count, occasion, special requests.
  • Commercial information — services requested, quotes, and payment confirmations (full card data is processed by our payment provider, not stored by us).
  • Internet & device activity — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and link-click events (for example, clicks on our Instagram link) collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications — messages you send us by email, phone, SMS, or social media.

We do not knowingly collect or process "sensitive data" as defined by the FDBR (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, biometric data, or data revealing race, religion, health, or sexual orientation). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and deliver your transportation service.
  • Process payments and maintain business records.
  • Communicate confirmations, updates, and service notices.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our Site and services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not process it for "targeted advertising" or "profiling" that produces legal or similarly significant effects, as those terms are defined under the FDBR. We share information only as follows:

  • Chauffeurs and dispatch staff who fulfill your booking.
  • Service providers (payment processor, hosting, email, analytics) acting on our behalf under contract.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aelux, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Our Site uses minimal first-party cookies and simple click counters (for example, to measure how often visitors click our Instagram link) to operate the site and understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work as a result. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals at this time, but we honor recognized opt-out signals where required by law.

5. Your Florida Privacy Rights (FDBR)

If you are a Florida consumer, you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal information and access it.
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal information.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you.
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal information in a usable format.
  • Opt out of (a) the sale of personal information, (b) targeted advertising, (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, and (d) the collection or processing of sensitive data. As noted above, we do not currently engage in (a)–(d).

How to exercise your rights: email Bookings@aeluxtransport.com with the subject line "Florida Privacy Request." We will verify your identity using information already on file (such as the email or phone number associated with your booking) and respond within 45 days, with a possible 15-day extension when reasonably necessary. There is no fee for the first request in any 12-month period.

Appeals: If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response within 30 days. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If the appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Florida Department of Legal Affairs at myfloridalegal.com.

Authorized agents: You may designate an agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require written authorization and may verify your identity directly.

Non-discrimination: We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Booking records are typically retained for up to seven (7) years to satisfy Florida tax and recordkeeping requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Third-Party Links

Our Site links to third-party sites (such as Instagram). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
